FORMER ICE DIRECTOR CALLS FOR ABRAMS TO DROP OUT OF GOVERNOR'S RACE, SAYS SHE NEEDS TO "READ THE U.S. CONSTITUTION"
(Athens, GA) - In light of Stacey Abrams' push to have illegal immigrants vote in Georgia's gubernatorial election, former ICE Director Thomas Homan called for her to "withdraw" from the race.
Transcript:
"Well, she should withdraw from the race... she needs to spend a few moments to read the U.S. constitution. She needs to spend a few moments looking at how this country was founded... the principal of rule of law... the privilege to be a U.S. citizen and the privilege to vote. She needs to do some studying before she runs for any office. I find that remarkable that she would even say those things."
"People who refuse to pay their taxes while they self finance their campaign should be banned from running," said Cody Hall, Press Secretary. "Those who openly advocate for illegal and unconstitutional actions to steal elections should be barred as well."
